What makes a candle worth lighting
Most candles are paraffin — a petroleum derivative — carried by synthetic fragrance. Ours are not, and we would rather show you the difference than sell you the word “natural.”
No petroleum, no synthetic fragrance, less soot than paraffin when burned correctly. Those are verifiable. That is enough.

Read The Candle GuideHow long do Agni candles burn?
Roughly 45–50 hours for the standard size. Full wax pool on the first burn, a wick trimmed to 5–6mm, 2–3 hour sessions and no draughts will get you to the upper end of that.
Are they actually non-toxic?
They contain no paraffin, no petroleum derivatives, no synthetic fragrance, and no chemical stabilisers. “Non-toxic” has no regulated definition in Canada, so we publish what is in the candle instead of claiming the label.
Are the Ayurvedic candles safe on skin?
Yes, for most people — they are formulated with organic coconut oil for skin contact. Let the wax cool 2–3 minutes after extinguishing, test a small area first, and avoid broken skin.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes. Everything ships from our Toronto studio across Canada and to the United States, with free shipping over $150.
